Recipe: No-Bake Treat Balls

Peanut Butter Balls or Almond Butter Balls

A healthy snack for kids and adults
These are good enough to have as dessert and will keep well in an airtight container in the refrigerator
Children can have fun making these themselves

1 cup of peanut butter, sunflower butter, or almond butter (raw almond butter is my choice)
Use natural peanut butter with no hydrogenated oils

1 cup crunchy cereal such as Ezekiel Golden Flax Nuggets, Kashi whole grain Nuggets or Granola of your choice
Buy granola without added sugar and oils if possible
You can also add some raisins or currents

1/2 cup of Juice Plus Chocolate Complete protein powder

2 tbls. honey (Optional)
Add just enough to make a smooth consistency

Scoop a teaspoon full and roll into a ball
Roll the balls in some grated coconut for added texture, nutrition, and
prevents them from being sticky

Place into an airtight container and refrigerate for firmness and freshness
Use 1/2 the amounts for a smaller batch

Be sure to serve water with this special, healthy treat – you will need it.
